On the occasion of the Mahashivratri festival, this date will be announced according to the calendar calculation in the presence of Rawal Bhimashankar Linga, temple committee officials, learned masters in Omkareshwar temple, the winter seat. For which complete preparations have been made. Omkareshwar Temple, the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath, is decorated with eight quintal flowers. At the same time, before Shivratri, snow has done the decoration of the Kedarnath temple. There is snow up to five feet in the Dham. There is only snow all around in Kedarnath Dham.

 

Covid guidelines will be used

 

During this, the Covid guidelines will be strictly followed. Worship, Jalabhishek, Kirtan Bhajan will be done by the devotees under social distance. A huge Bhandara will also be organized by the devotees of Delhi on this occasion. Head priest Bagesh Ling told that the date of opening of the doors of Lord Kedarnath on Mahashivratri festival and the Panchmukhi movable Vigraha festival Doli leaving Ukhimath to Kailash will be told. He told that due to the global pandemic of corona infection for the last two years, the yatra had come to a halt after the opening of the doors of Lord Kedarnath. Therefore, this year there is a lot of enthusiasm among the local pilgrimage priests and traders. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, chief priests will also be deployed in Kedarnath, Madmaheshwar, Vishwanath temple, Guptkashi, and Omkareshwar temple.
