New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will launch the e-ration card service in the national capital on Friday.

Delhi will implement the scheme which links the ration and Aadhaar cards together in a bid to curb corruption and bring in transparency and increase accountability, an official said on Thursday.

"Those who have Aadhaar cards can apply online and those who applied and are waiting to get one can use the Aadhaar card number on the online slip," the official said.

Other proofs of identity will also be accepted, the official added.
