The police have issued a traffic advisory regarding the Surajkund International Self-Reliant Handicrafts Fair in Faridabad.

 

 

During the fair, from January 31 to February 15, 2026, the entry of heavy and commercial vehicles will be restricted on various routes daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM. These routes include those from Pali towards the Shooting Range, from Ankhir towards Surajkund, from NHPC Chowk towards Surajkund, and from Prahladpur Delhi Border towards Surajkund.

Only vehicles providing essential services, such as those supplying fruits, vegetables, milk, and medicines, will be allowed entry on these routes.

 

 

Vehicles traveling from Gurugram to Delhi via Faridabad can take the route from Sainik Colony Chowk via Ankhir Chowk and Badkhal Road towards Delhi, or from Sainik Colony Chowk via Pyali Chowk, Bata Chowk, and Mathura Road towards Delhi. Vehicles coming to Surajkund from Prahladpur, Delhi Border, and the Shooting Range should not proceed directly to Surajkund but instead enter Faridabad via the Badarpur Border and the highway.

 

 

Vehicles coming from NHPC Chowk towards Surajkund should also use the National Highway to enter Faridabad city. For any traffic assistance or information, please contact the Faridabad Traffic Control Room (0129-2267201, 2225999) or the helpline number 112.
