New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) AAP leader and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will Wednesday meet two of his attackers who slapped and punched him during campaigning for the Lok Sabha election here, party officials said.
Kejriwal would first head to Kirari to meet 38-year-old Lali, an autorickshaw driver who Tuesday slapped the Aam Aadmi Party leader in Sultanpuri. The attack left the 45-year-old Kejriwal with a swollen left eye.
The attacker denounced Kejriwal as a "liar" and was roughed up by party workers immediately after the incident. AAP's Rakhi Birla, who is contesting from the constituency, would accompany Kejriwal.
The AAP chief will then meet 19-year-old Abdul Wahid, a resident of Delhi's Jamia Nagar area who twice punched Kejriwal at a public rally April 4.
Kejriwal was with his party's South Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Devendra Sherawat and three legislators when the attack took place in south Delhi's Dakshinpuri area.
