Vijay starrer film 'Beast' has reached close to 200 crores in just 5 days. The Hindi version of the film has not been able to show the magic that was expected from it. However, despite this, this film, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, has done a lot of business in a very short time. The film got a bang at the box office but then gradually its business started to cool down. Although, its 5-day collection of the film has been around 200 crores.

'Beast' suffers the loss of KGF 2 release

The Beast has also suffered the loss of the release of superstar Yash's film KGF: Chapter 2. Even though the film has come close to 200 crores in terms of worldwide collection, if it crosses this figure, then it will be Vijay's fifth film to do so. Earlier, films like Vijay's Mersal, Sarkar, Bigil, and Master have joined the 200-crore club.

The Hindi version of 'Beast' did not play

Talking about Beast, it was dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. The Hindi version of the film was quite disappointing as it did business of just Rs 50 lakh on its release day. Since then there has been no growth in the business of the film. At the same time, Yash's film KGF2 has been doing a banging business at the box office since its release.

What is the story of the movie 'Beast'?

Pooja Hegde has played the female lead role in Beast. The pairing of Vijay and Pooja has been shown on the big screen for the first time through Beast. In the film, Vijay plays a character named Veeraraghavan, who is one of India's best spies. When a mall is hijacked, incidentally this agent also gets trapped there, after which a chain of action begins.
