All the opposition parties, including the Congress, have gathered in the siege of the central and state government in this matter. Rahul Gandhi, who is going to Lucknow to meet the families of the victims, has been allowed by the UP government to go to Lakhimpur Kheri. The state government has allowed Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and several others to visit Lakhimpur Kheri. Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi, who was trying to go to Lakhimpur Kheri, has been detained in Sitapur.

 

Lakhimpur Kheri Highlights

 

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi left for Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh by air to meet the families of farmers who lost their lives in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

 

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said that not more than 5 people can gather under section 144. Fewer people can go than that. Yesterday also I was wrongly stopped. We will try to reach out to the victim's family. After all, what is it that the state government wants to hide? What is it that wants to save someone?

 

On not letting Lakhimpur Kheri go, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that the BJP government is letting the rest of the political parties go. 5 Trinamool Congress MPs went there (Lakhimpur Kheri), our Bhim Army friends went there with dozens of people, so why can't Congress leaders go? What is our crime?

 

On the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal questioned that the killers have not even been arrested yet. Today, on the one hand, the government is celebrating the nectar festival of freedom and on the other hand, when the leaders of the opposition are going to meet the families of the deceased, they are being put in jail, which is the celebration of freedom.

 

Ongoing to Lakhimpur Kheri by opposition parties, Minister in Uttar Pradesh government Siddharth Nath Singh said that if you have to go to Lakhimpur, you will leave after a few days. There is no objection if you meet the sad families, but to spoil the atmosphere will not be allowed. He said that if the situation is under control, he will be allowed to go.
