With modern technology, the new mantra for development in the villages of the country is the ownership scheme.
The Prime Minister said that the Swamitva Scheme is not just a scheme to provide legal documents, but it is also a new mantra for development and trust in the villages of the country with the help of modern technology.
In the initial phases, the Swamitva scheme was implemented in some villages of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, he said. Property cards have been prepared for about 22 lakh families living in villages in these states.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Harda district will participate in this state-level program of ownership scheme under the public welfare and Suraj campaign being run in the state from September 17 to October 7. Beneficiaries and public representatives from other districts will join the program through video conferencing. It is to be known that in the nine states where the Swamitva Scheme has been implemented on a pilot basis, Madhya Pradesh is also included.
The ownership scheme has been started by the central government to promote Digital India. An e-Gram Swaraj Portal has been started where information about all the problems related to village society is available. Through this portal, farmers will be able to collect all the information about their land. Under this scheme, you will be able to get all the records of your property online and after completion of registration and government process, you will be able to download your property paper in one click.
