The Supreme Court on Friday heard the Lakhimpur Kheri case. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court said that it is not satisfied with the steps taken by the Uttar Pradesh government in the investigation of the Lakhimpur Kheri case. The court, while making a stern remark in the matter, said, if the accused was a common man, he would have got so much exemption. Only local officials have been kept in the SIT. This case is not such that it would not be right to hand over it to the CBI. We'll have to look some other way. Keep DGP evidence safe. Now the next hearing of the case will be on October 20.
The court asked the Uttar Pradesh government that even when serious allegations like death or gunshot injuries are involved in the case, are the accused treated like this? The Supreme Court said that eight people were brutally murdered in this case and the law should take its course against all the accused. The court further said that understanding the seriousness of the matter, we hope that the UP government will take necessary steps in this matter.
Senior advocate Harish Salve is representing Uttar Pradesh in the Supreme Court. He said in the court that Ajay Mishra is being targeted. He will appear in court tomorrow morning. A notice has been sent to them.

Along with this, the court had also ordered the UP government to make immediate arrangements for the immediate treatment of the ailing mother who lost her son in the violence.
