Lockdown extended in Bihar till 6 September, the order issued on 30 July will remain in effect

Corona lockdown has been extended once again in Bihar. This time it has been extended till 6 September. The Home Department issued the order after a high-level meeting. The order issued on July 30 for the prevention of corona will be effective only.

 

According to the previous order which was issued till Sunday i.e. August 16, religious places in Bihar have been kept closed. There is a ban on any kind of crowded religious, political, social, or cultural events. Restrictions on bus services have been upheld.

 

However, some relaxation was also given in the order. Under this, commercial and private establishments have been allowed to open. At the same time, the number of employees in offices was also increased from 33 to 50 percent. Parks, gyms, and educational institutions are closed as before. A new order can be issued in this regard on Monday. It is believed that some restrictions may be relaxed. The night curfew is still going on in Bihar. It is likely to be continued or whether people will be exempted from the night curfew.

 

Know which will be banned in these 10 points

 

1. Central Government Offices allowed to work with its autonomous/subordinate office and public corporation 50% personnel (security forces, public utilities, disaster management, power generation and post offices with a minimum number of employees allowed is)

 

2. Shops and services related to food, grocery, and agricultural inputs along with banks, IT and related services, print and electronic media, internet, telecom, e-commerce, petrol pumps, power generation, etc. are exempt.

 

3. State government offices, it's autonomous/subordinate officers and public corporations will be able to work with 50 percent personnel. (There will be work in the security forces, fire and emergency, disaster management, elections, public utilities, food and civil supplies, agriculture, animal husbandry, municipal body, forest officer, office of social welfare)

 

4. Business and private institutions will be allowed to open. Shops will also open. It was not allowed earlier. However, the mall will not be included. It will depend on the district administration when and how long the shops should be opened. Adherence to social distancing will be an important condition.

 

5. The tactic and auto service will run as before during lockdown. Bus service has been completely closed. There will be no restriction on the arrival of cargo trains. People connected to essential services can use private vehicles.

 

6. Only restaurants with home delivery option are allowed to open.

 

7. Industrial establishments will be allowed to work with the necessary precautions and strict implementation measures of social distancing.

 

8. All educational, training, research and coaching institutes etc. will remain closed.

 

9. All public places of worship will be closed. No religious congregation will be allowed without exception. All social, political, educational, entertainment, sports, cultural and religious ceremonies and functions will be prohibited. Stadiums will be allowed to open without spectators.

 

10. All medical and essential services will remain outside the scope of restrictions during the lockdown.
