Voting was held for two Lok Sabha seats
Let us tell you that during the voting held on Friday for two Lok Sabha seats of Manipur, Congress had demanded re-polling at 47 polling stations, alleging election rigging and booth capturing. However, after considering the objections, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) announced re-polling only at 11 centers.
According to the Election Commission official, the polling stations where re-polling will be conducted include Moirangkampu Sazeb and Thongam Leekai of Khurai constituency, four in Kshetrigao, one in Thongju of Imphal East district, three in Uripok and one in Konthoujam of Imphal West district.
