The prices of gas cylinders increased once again on Thursday. Petroleum companies have increased the price of domestic LPG gas cylinders by Rs 3 and 50 paise. At the same time, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have also been increased by Rs. This is the second time in a month that gas prices have increased.

 

From today, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders will be available in Delhi and Mumbai for Rs 1003. In the last year, the domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone from Rs 809 to Rs 1003. At the same time, the price of LPG has come down to Rs 1029 in Kolkata and Rs 1018.5 in Chennai.

 

Due to this, the price of LPG cylinders has crossed Rs 1000 in most of the cities of the country, but Delhi was left behind. Now the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in the whole country is beyond Rs 1000.

 

Earlier on 7th May also the prices were increased

 

Earlier on May 7, 2022, the price of domestic LPG cylinders was increased in the country and at that time Rs 50 per cylinder was increased.

 

Commercial cylinder too expensive

 

On 7 May, due to the change in the rate of LPG, where the domestic cylinder became costlier by Rs 50, the 19 kg commercial cylinder became cheaper by about Rs 10. Today its rate has been increased by Rs. Now the 19 kg cylinder is being sold for 2,354 in Delhi, 2,454 in Kolkata, 2,306 in Mumbai, and 2,507 in Chennai.

 

On May 1, it had increased by about Rs 100. At the same time, in March, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder was only Rs 2012 in Delhi. On April 1, it rose to Rs 2253 and on May 1, it rose to Rs 2355. In the last year, the rate of the commercial cylinder has increased by Rs 750.

 

Domestic gas cylinders became costlier by Rs 194 in 1 year

 

On May 19, 2021, the price of a domestic gas cylinder in Delhi was Rs 809, which has now reached Rs 1003. That is, in the last year, the price of the domestic gas cylinder has increased by Rs 194. At the same time, the subsidy available on this has also been abolished.
