
Uttar Pradesh Police has banned the entry of heavy vehicles coming from Bihar from Monday evening. The National Highway passing through Mohaniya area of Kaimur district of Bihar remained jammed for the sixth day on Monday. However, the movement of small vehicles has been continued.
Entry of big vehicles was stopped on Monday. The problem of jam will be serious due to stopping the entry of vehicles at the Karmanasha border. At the same time, devotees from Chhattisgarh continue to come for Maha Kumbh. After entering Uttar Pradesh, the national highway starts from Hathinala ahead of Babhani. From here, people are going to Prayagraj via Robertsganj and Mirzapur. The pressure of vehicles is increasing.
Jam at Natwa Tiraha of Vindhyachal for 72 hours
There has been a jam at Natwa Tiraha of Vindhyachal on Prayagraj-Varanasi Highway for 72 hours. The movement of vehicles remained smooth on Monday on the Prayagraj road passing through Mungarabadshahpur town in Jaunpur. The situation on Kanpur-Prayagraj highway has also improved and the pressure of vehicles has reduced. Meanwhile, route diversion will remain on the highway due to the Maghi Purnima bathing festival.
Apart from Rewa, Chitrakoot of Madhya Pradesh, devotees coming from Delhi, Lucknow, and Bihar were also stuck in the jam for several hours. Due to the arrival of VIPs in the Mahakumbh Mela area, vehicles were diverted on the highway. In the afternoon, police officials started sending vehicles parked from the fair to the outside area towards their destination quickly to ease the traffic system.
Then the jam reduced a bit.
