Maharashtra Home Minister accused of recovery: Bombay High Court said - CBI should investigate in 15 days, there are allegations on Home Minister so police cannot conduct a fair investigation

The Bombay High Court has ordered the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry in 15 days in the case of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. The court said that the allegations are not trivial and are on the state home minister, so the police cannot investigate them impartially. The court gave this order on the PIL of Dr. Jayashree Laxmanrao Patil. Parambir says that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had given a target of Rs 100 crore to the suspended API Secretary Vazh.

The court while delivering the verdict said - The whole matter is revolving around the FIR. Jayashree Patil tried to get the FIR registered at the police station, but her FIR was not registered. We will not discuss other issues related to this matter right now. We agree that this is an unprecedented case. Anil Deshmukh is the Home Minister who leads the Police Department. There should be an independent inquiry into the matter, so the CBI should presently investigate the matter without registering an FIR and submit its primary report in 15 days.

In another petition related to this case, Parambir Singh made serious allegations of corruption on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. The petition demanded a CBI inquiry against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Also, the order to transfer from the post of former Mumbai Police Commissioner has been challenged. Earlier, Parambir Singh had filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking a CBI inquiry against Anil Deshmukh, which was rejected by the Supreme Court and asked him to go to the Bombay High Court.

The court had previously reprimanded Dr. Jayashree Patil

However, the High Court had earlier reprimanded Jayashree over her plea. A bench of Justice SS Shinde had said, "We think that such petitions are filed for cheap publicity." You say that you are a doctorate in Criminology, but show us a single paragraph drafted on your behalf.

Your entire petition is based on a paragraph extracted from a letter (Parambir Singh's letter to the CM). Where is your original demand in this? Where are your points? ' At this, Advocate Patil said that she had gone to the police earlier with a complaint, but there was no action.

The court also reprimanded Parambir

During the hearing, the High Court had reprimanded Parambir Singh, saying, 'You are not an ordinary man. It was your responsibility to complain about wrongdoing. Despite knowing that your boss is committing a crime, you remain silent. The High Court had asked how a CBI inquiry can be ordered without registering any complaint with the police. The court had asked that why did you not file a police complaint against the Home Minister? If the complaint was not filed then you would have gone to the Magistrate, you cannot change the High Court in the Magistrate Court. '

Param Bir Singh's allegation

Parambir Singh says that Home Minister Deshmukh had given a target to recover Rs 100 crore to the suspended API Secretary Waze. Parambir Singh claimed that he had also told this to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, but he was transferred a few days later. Parambir has also challenged his transfer order. He says that Officer Rashmi Shukla's report on transfer-posting should be investigated.

Parambir claims that Home Minister Deshmukh was constantly meeting with Sachin Waze at his bungalow. During this time, a target of 100 crore collection was given. Parambir has also demanded an investigation of the CCTV footage of Deshmukh's bungalow.

Sharad Pawar has defended Deshmukh

NCP chief Sharad Pawar has defended Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh trapped in corruption charges. Pawar had said in a press conference on 22 March, "We feel that all these things were spoken by Parambir Singh (former police commissioner) because he has been transferred."
