So far 10 ministers and 20 MLAs have become corona positive in Maharashtra, this information has been given by the state's Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Pawar said that the pace of corona infection is increasing in the state. If it doesn't break, then we will have to take some drastic action. Pawar's warning comes when 8,067 fresh cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra on Friday, which is 50 percent more than Thursday.

Assembly session has been shortened: Ajit Pawar

Talking to reporters after visiting the Jaystambh Military Memorial in Perne village, Pawar said, "We have recently shortened the assembly session after the infection spread among ministers and MLAs. So far, the corona report of more than 10 ministers and more than 20 MLAs has come positive. Everyone wants to be a part of the celebration of New Year, Birthday and other occasions. Keep in mind that the new version ( Omicron) spreads rapidly and therefore caution is needed. PM Narendra Modi has appealed and some states have announced night curfew. He said that cases are increasing in Maharashtra especially in Mumbai and Pune.

Will impose strict restrictions if the number of patients increases: Pawar

Asked about the possibility of imposing more restrictions, Pawar said the state government was keeping a watch on the increasing number of patients. He said there would be strict restrictions if the number of patients continued to rise. Everyone should follow the norms to avoid strict restrictions.
