Medicine too, strictness: Modi said- Preparation in the last phase, will run the world's largest vaccination program in the new year

Posted on 31st Dec 2020 03:51 pm by rohit kumar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot through video conferencing. Modi said that 2020 taught us that health is wealth. This entire year has been challenging. The preparation of the corona vaccine is now in the last phase. The new year is bringing hope for a cure. In the new year, we are preparing to run the world's largest vaccination program. He said for the first time that now even medicine and strictness… that is, do not be careless even when the corona medicine comes.

10 important things about Modi's speech

1. The mantra of 2021- medicine and rigor too

Two yards, do not relax in masks and sanitization. Happy New Year to all. Earlier, he used to say that there is no laxity unless there is medicine. Now I say that medicine as well as rigor. This is the mantra of 2021. The market of rumors in the country remains a bit sharp. This will work even when there is vaccination. Many imaginary lies can be spread. I urge people to fight against Corona, the unknown enemy. In the coming days, help in the health campaign that will run in the country. The entire country will be informed about the vaccination in advance.

2. Day to remember health workers

Farewell to the new health facility in 2020 has been reflective of challenges. This year shows unprecedented challenges in the world. This year proved that nothing is greater than health. When there is an injury on health, not only life, but the whole social circle gets wrapped up in it. The last day of the year is to remember the doctors, working in the drugstores, health workers, who are constantly working their lives for others at constant stakes.

3. A difficult year showed the importance of solidarity

The Prime Minister said that today the country is repeatedly remembering those colleagues, scientists, and employees who were engaged in preparing the necessary infrastructure because of the corona. Today is a day of appreciation to all those who have worked to provide all facilities to the poor. The organized strength of the society is the result of its sensitivity that nobody even allowed the poor to go hungry at night. A difficult year showed that the greatest difficulty can be solved by solidarity.

4. 2021 bringing hope to cure

In India, 1 crore people have won and fought against this disease. India's record was far better than the countries of the world. In 2020 there was a disappointment of transition, there were question marks all around, it became the hallmark of the year. 2021 is bringing hope of cure. Every necessary preparation of vaccine is going on in India. The vaccine reaches every home, its efforts are in the final stages. I am confident that the way we tried to stop the infection last year, the whole country will go ahead with vaccination as well.

5. Started work on ten new AIIMS

The way the infrastructure has been prepared in Gujarat has made it easier for the state to deal with Corona. We have seen that where there is a big hospital, only a city is settled. Gujarat is also benefiting from the scale on which treatment has been worked out in the last 6 years. Even after so many decades of independence, only 6 AIIMS were able to be built. The Atal government built 6 new AIIMS in 2003. We have started work on building 10 new AIIMS.

6. Health, Wellness Center benefit the poor

Before 2014 our health sector was working with different approaches. The villages had few facilities. We emphasized preventive care. Reduced the treatment cost of the poor, also increased the number of doctors. Work is underway to establish health and wellness centers in remote areas. 5 thousand are in Gujarat only. Under this scheme, the poor got free treatment up to 5 lakh.

7. 3600 crores of poor are being saved every year from Ayushman Yojana

The Ayushman Bharat Scheme left 30 thousand crore rupees for the poor. Cancer, heart and kidney problems, the poor get free treatment in good hospitals. 7 thousand Jan Aushadhi centers in the country are providing medicines free of cost to the poor. Medicines here are up to 90% cheaper. More than three and a half lakh patients are taking benefit of Janaushadhi Center every day. 3600 crore rupees are saved from the poor every year.

8. The plan changed the outlook of the people

The question may arise in the mind of some, why is the government insisting on this? Most of us are people from the same background. If the poor have serious illness, they think that it should not be treated. When he has a serious illness, he goes on a path of worship. The reason is the same - he does not have treatment money. Ayushman Bharat Yojana changed the attitude of people regarding the disease.

9. Increased access to health plans

Today, there is serious about health and wellness. This has happened not only in cities but also in remote villages. People have also become aware of the toilet. The arrival of gas in the kitchen brought positivity in the thinking of daughters-in-law and improved health. The country has seen a significant decrease in maternal mortality. Implementation is also important with impact. It is necessary to improve the process. The major change in the health sector was that people had access to health plans.

10. 2021 Health Solution will have

AIIMS must be in between every 3 Lok Sabha constituencies. In the past years, 24 thousand seats have been increased in AIIMS. If 2020 was the year of the Health Challenge, then 2021 would be the year of the Health Solution. Today we see that diseases are being globalized. It is time that health solutions also globalize. Now is not the time to work in isolation. Everyone has to work together. India has shown this by doing this. We moved forward with the world, added value to Collective Efforts, and put humanity at the center.

1195 Crore to be spent on 750-bed AIIMS

The government has approved 201 acres for Rajkot AIIMS. It is estimated to cost Rs 1195 crore. It is expected to be completed by mid-2022. The 750-bed AIIMS will also have a 30-bed Ayush block. It will have 125 MBBS seats and 60 nursing seats.
