Corona cases have started increasing again in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2380 new cases have been reported, while 4 people have died. 3 states have the highest share of new cases. These three states are Delhi, UP, and Haryana. Delhi has registered 1009 cases in the last 24 hours. 310 cases of corona have been found in Haryana and 168 in Uttar Pradesh.
At the same time, because of the increasing cases of corona in the country, the Punjab government has made it mandatory to wear masks in crowded places. Earlier, the Delhi government had made a provision of imposing a fine of Rs 500 for not wearing a mask. Masks have also been made mandatory in some districts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
However, according to experts, the situation is not scary. Former senior scientist of ICMR Dr. Raman Gangakhedkar says that there is no such thing as danger in the country. He says that the increase in cases should not be seen by linking it to the fourth wave in the country.
