Union Minister Smriti Irani once again held a press conference today i.e. on Wednesday, regarding the huge lapse in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab. During his press conference, he fiercely attacked the Congress government of the state. Smriti said that seeing the breach in the security of the Prime Minister in Punjab, I had put some questions before the Congress leadership. A television network has brought to the nation some worrying results of those questions. Statements of Punjab Police officers on a national news channel expose the truth. The statement of the Punjab Police officer that he kept on giving information about the breach of security of the Prime Minister to the senior officials, the Punjab administration, and the government, but no such intervention was done on the part of the government which would give security to the Prime Minister. Smriti Irani said that I want to ask that after all the top officers of Punjab Police were working on the behest of which big leader of Congress?

DGP gave a green signal without knowing: Smriti Irani

Smriti Irani said that without knowing why the DGP told the security team of Prime Minister Modi that the entire system and route is safe. Who are the top officials in the Congress government of Punjab who was not taking any steps to give security to the Prime Minister even after this alert?

Why did Punjab CM inform Priyanka Gandhi Vadra about this?

Smriti Irani said why did the Punjab CM inform a private party (Priyanka Gandhi Vadra) about the PM's security protocols and violations? Why is the private citizen, who is part of the Gandhi family, interested in this?

Supreme Court constituted a five-member committee

The Supreme Court has constituted a five-member committee in the matter of lapse in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab. This committee, constituted under the chairmanship of former Supreme Court judge Justice Indu Malhotra, will investigate the entire matter. The investigation committee includes Chandigarh DGP, IG of NIA, Registrar General of Punjab, and Haryana High Court, ADGP Punjab. Along with this, the Supreme Court has ordered the committees formed by the Punjab and Central Government to stop their investigation.

What's the matter?

On January 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a visit to Ferozepur in Punjab. Due to heavy rains, the PM had to go by road, but during this time protesters were found on the way, 30 km from Hussainiwala, due to which his convoy stayed in a very unsafe area for about 20 minutes. Apart from terrorists, the area where PM Modi's convoy had stopped is considered a stronghold of heroin smugglers. In September last year, a terrorist incident was carried out in the same area.

The Home Ministry had accused the Punjab government

The Home Ministry said that the Prime Minister's program and travel plan had already been informed to the Punjab government. They had to make arrangements related to this, which were not done. The Home Ministry said that when the travel route was changed, the Punjab government had to make additional security deployments so that travel by road was safe, but no additional arrangements were made.

Welcome to the committee constituted by the Supreme Court: Kiran Bedi

Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi while speaking on the PM's security lapse said that the committee constituted by the Supreme Court is welcome and necessary as it has been the lowest level performance of the civil administration and police of Punjab, which has led to the failure of the rest of the country. set a very bad example.

Chief Secretary, DGP and Home Secretary responsible: Kiran Bedi

Kiran Bedi said failure was suspected earlier but now it is clear. The Punjab government was ready to compromise on the security of the PM. The authorities will have to pay a heavy price for the acceptance of illegal and irregular orders. The Chief Secretary, DGP, and Home Secretary are responsible for this.
