Weather Update: Rain alert in many states due to a western disturbance, know- the condition of other states including Delhi, UP

The weather is expected to change once again in North India. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the cyclonic circulation is over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Andaman Sea. Apart from this, a fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach the Western Himalayas by the evening of February 22. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in these areas.

 

Chances of rain in these states

 

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall may increase in the Western Himalayas between February 22 and 24. On February 22 and 23, there may be scattered heavy snowfall on the hills. Apart from this, isolated rain is very likely over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.

 

Know-how will the weather be in Delhi today

 

According to the information available on the website of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds in Delhi for two days from today (Tuesday). The minimum temperature in Delhi today (February 22) is likely to be 10 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the maximum temperature will be around 26 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, can be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 23 degrees Celsius.

 

Chance of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir

 

Rain and snowfall will continue in Jammu and Kashmir's Kashmir division today. Rain will be seen in the Jammu division as well due to today's cloudy weather. Today the maximum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to be 14 degrees. The IMD has predicted rain for the whole week in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, due to which the minimum temperature may drop.

 

snowfall in Uttarakhand

 

Snowfall occurred in the high-altitude areas in Uttarakhand last Tuesday. After which rain was also recorded in many parts. At the same time, according to the information received from the Meteorological Department, many parts of the state may receive rain for the next three to four days, due to which the minimum temperature will see a drop. In many districts of the state today, the maximum temperature can remain up to 14 degrees, while the minimum temperature is expected to be up to 2 degrees.
