Modi eats lunch at Parliament Canteen

New Delhi, March 2 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi had lunch at the parliament house canteen on Monday, taking the staff and MPs there by surprise.

He ate the vegetarian thali at the canteen which provides heavily subsidised meals for parliamentarians, and paid for it himself, official sources said.

The canteen, in another section, provides the same facility for media persons.
