When Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his teacher in Navsari on Friday, the happiness of both was worth seeing. When PM Modi saluted his teacher, he showered his hand on his head and blessed him in the same way as he would have given Bal Narendra in that school of Vadnagar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated, laid foundation stones, and performed Bhoomi pujan of projects worth over Rs 3,000 crore during the 'Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan' in Navsari, Gujarat. Modi said on the occasion, "Today is Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan. I am taking special pride in the fact that I worked as the Chief Minister for so many years, but never had such a big program happen in the tribal area. Today I am proud of the fact that after leaving Gujarat, the people who have taken the responsibility of handling Gujarat and today the zeal and enthusiasm with which the pair of Bhupendra Bhai and CR Patil is instilling new confidence.
The Prime Minister said, "From this holy land of Navsari, I bow my head to Unai Mata Temple. It is also a matter of pride for me to be a part of Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan in the land of tribal strength and resolve. The pride of Gujarat, the rapid development that has taken place in the last two decades. Everyone has development and the new aspirations born out of this development are sincerely carrying forward this glorious tradition of double engine government. Today I have got an opportunity to inaugurate, lay foundation stones and perform Bhoomi Pujan for projects worth more than Rs 3,000 crore.
