Senior advocate Vrinda Grover, appearing for Zubair in the Supreme Court, sought an urgent hearing on his plea. He also challenged the formation of SIT. A bench headed by CJI asked Grover to mention the matter for an urgent hearing before a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud. The same bench had earlier passed the order in his case.
