Motorola has yet to announce the official price, which is expected to be revealed at the launch.

Moto G Max India Launch Date and Availability

According to the Flipkart microsite, the Moto G Max will launch in India on August 14 at 12 PM. The smartphone will be available to Indian buyers through Flipkart.

The device is expected to arrive in Blue, Dark Grey and Pink colour options. Motorola has not yet revealed the official launch price, so buyers will have to wait until the August 14 event for complete pricing and sale details.

Moto G Max Display: 6.72-Inch 120Hz Screen

The upcoming Moto G Max will feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate should deliver smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming compared with conventional 60Hz screens.

The display is also claimed to reach up to 1050 nits of peak brightness, which should improve visibility in brighter surroundings.

Another notable feature is Motorola's Water Touch 2.0 technology, designed to make the touchscreen more responsive even when water droplets are present on the display.

Rugged Design with Gorilla Glass Ceramic and IP64 Rating

Motorola is also focusing on durability with the Moto G Max. The smartphone is expected to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection and an IP64 rating.

The handset has also been given MIL-STD 810H certification, according to the company. These features are designed to provide additional protection against everyday dust, water exposure and accidental drops.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Chipset and Up to 18GB RAM

Under the hood, the Moto G Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. The phone will also use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which should contribute to faster app loading and multitasking.

Motorola is advertising up to 18GB of RAM with its RAM Boost feature. This figure combines physical RAM with virtual RAM, meaning the actual hardware RAM capacity will be lower.

The RAM Boost feature is intended to help users keep more applications running in the background and improve multitasking performance.

Moto G Max Camera: 50MP Sony Main Sensor

Photography is another major highlight of the Moto G Max.

The smartphone will feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, Motorola has equipped the device with a 32MP front-facing camera.

The phone will also include AI-powered imaging features aimed at improving photographs and enhancing overall image quality.

7000mAh Battery Promises Up to Three Days of Use

The 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery is arguably the biggest attraction of the Moto G Max.

Motorola claims the battery can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge, although actual battery life will vary depending on network conditions, screen brightness, apps and usage patterns.

The company also says the battery is designed to withstand up to 1,000 recharge cycles, potentially offering improved long-term durability.

Stereo Speakers, Dolby Atmos and 3.5mm Headphone Jack

For entertainment, the Moto G Max will come with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. The device will also retain a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect traditional wired earphones without a USB-C adapter.

Moto G Max to Run Android 16

The upcoming Motorola phone is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box.

Motorola has also confirmed software support consisting of two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

Moto G Max Expected Price in India

Motorola has not announced the Moto G Max price in India yet. The official price and sale details are expected to be revealed during the launch event on August 14.

Considering the combination of a 7000mAh battery, 120Hz display, Snapdragon chipset, Sony camera sensor and rugged construction, the pricing will be a key factor in determining how competitive the Moto G Max is in India's mid-range smartphone market.
