'MP factor' is visible in Punjab politics: Sidhu trying to bargain like Scindia!

Jyotiraditya Scindia along with State Congress President Kamal Nath also worked hard to get the party power in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. There was also a demand to declare him the face of CM by the Scindia faction in the elections, but the high command did not do so. Now similar developments have started appearing again in the politics of Punjab. State Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has a decisive role in the elections along with CM Charanjit Singh Channi. Meanwhile, Sidhu has made it clear that without the bride and groom, the procession cannot take place, that I should be declared the face of the CM post.

Navjot is comparing Kamal Nath with Baghel

According to sources associated with the Punjab Congress, the people of Sidhu's camp are also giving the example of Jyotiraditya Scindia for the chief minister's post, how he left the party after the formation of the government and toppled the Congress majority government. . Whereas on the other hand, the high command refers to the matter of making former state presidents like him chief ministers like Kamal Nath and Bhupesh Baghel. People close to him want Sidhu to be declared CM face on the same lines as Congress declared Captain Amarinder Singh as the CM face in the elections in 2017 as the state president. Sidhu and his team are constantly attacking Channi Sarkar under a strategy. Sidhu has strengthened himself by raising the issue of sacrilege case and FIR against Vikram Singh Majithia.

While on the other hand he is touring the entire state and in some seats, without discussing with the CM, senior Congress leaders, and high command, he is also giving the assurance of getting tickets to the candidates. Sidhu's strategy is that he is constantly attacking CM Channi and trying to declare himself as the CM face. On the other hand, he is carrying out the agenda of getting tickets to more and more people close to him, so that by getting good seats in the assembly elections, he can get the support of more and more MLAs for the post of CM.

Sidhu is not agreeing even after the alert of the high command

Party sources related to Delhi say that the high command has repeatedly advised Sidhu not to make statements against his government in public. But even after this, they are not ready to accept it. The party is annoyed with Sidhu due to statements like the announcement of giving two thousand rupees and eight gas cylinders to the women and who is the bridegroom of the Punjab Congress procession. So far there has been no discussion with the top leadership and the state organization regarding the announcement like gas cylinder. Sidhu has made such an announcement to keep himself in the limelight. As the state president, Sidhu is under pressure to give tickets to his favorite candidates, but the party will not come under this pressure. Candidates will be selected based on victory.

The party running with the three leaders together

Political experts who keep an eye on Congress say that the top leadership of the Congress party wants to take all three along with Chief Minister Channi, Congress President Sidhu, and Congress's Campaign Committee President Sunil Jakhar. So that the caste equation remains in the state. And the loss of the captain leaving the party should be at least. At present, the party has announced to fix the post of CM after the elections, so that the party can easily select the CM according to the support of the MLAs.

Congress party does not want to play the stake of declaring CM face because of Dalit vote bank. Channi is already leading the Scheduled Castes. On the other hand, there is a 38 percent Hindu vote bank in the state, which is headed by Sunil Jakhar, and the Sikh community in Punjab is also prominent, led by Navjot Singh Sidhu. In such a situation, declaring someone as CM can prove to be harmful to the party.
