After 7 months, on October 27, Elon Musk finally bought Twitter. As soon as he became the owner, he first fired the top 3 people on Twitter. Two of them are of Indian origin – CEO Parag Agarwal and Legal Policy Head Vijaya Gadde. After this action, questions are being raised about whether Elon Musk has joined China's appeasement as soon as he becomes the owner of Twitter?

On April 5, at 6:02 pm, Parag welcomes Elon Musk to the company's board by tweeting. Aggarwal said that Musk is a believer in our service and is a serious critic. This is what we need on Twitter and in our board rooms to make ourselves strong for the long run.

 

On April 11, Parag tweeted that Musk has decided not to join the Twitter board. There may be upheaval ahead. It is in our hands to take decisions and implement them, not in anyone else's hands. We have to focus on our work.

 

During this, there were meetings between Musk and Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal several times, but there was a conflict on issues like free speech, and the edit button. Because of this, the tussle between Musk and Parag increased.

 

Episode 2: Parag-Musk's tweet war on backing out of the Twitter deal

 

On 13 April 2022, Elon Musk writes a letter to the board to buy Twitter and offers $ 44 billion i.e. Rs 3.37 lakh crore. The Twitter board turned down the offer on April 15 but accepted Musk's offer on April 25.

 

On April 26, Elon Musk raises issues like free speech on Twitter. At the same time, it is said that Twitter has lost its way. Twitter restricts freedom of speech, while as the world's town hall, it should be the first place for free speech.

 

After this, Musk starts talking about bots i.e. fake accounts on Twitter, and asks Twitter the number of real users. Twitter issued a statement stating that 5% of the daily active users are fake.

 

Parag shares a long thread post on 16 May 2022. He was explaining how Twitter handles human reviews of potential spam. In response to that thread, Musk asked, "Have you tried calling him? The Tesla CEO also tweeted a pile of poo emojis in response to Parag's entire thread. This means that the pollen is molting.

 

Episode 3: Sue after backing out of the Twitter deal

 

On July 8, 2022, Elon Musk announces his withdrawal from the Twitter deal. Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk in the Delaware Court of America. Twitter wants Musk to complete the deal that has been done at $ 54.20 per share. Musk made a tweet after the lawsuit without naming Twitter. In it, he wrote, "Look at the irony."

 

On July 11, Musk made fun of the Twitter threats by sharing a laughing picture on his Twitter handle. He had said in his tweet that earlier he (Twitter) said that I cannot buy his company. Later he said that they cannot expose the bot (fake account) and now he wants to force me to buy Twitter through court, but now he has to disclose the bot in court also.

 

Episode 4: Outrage over banning Trump

 

American right-wing users have been consistently claiming that Twitter has been suppressing their voices. Twitter has always denied this. Twitter has also banned former US President Donald Trump. Elon Musk has called this decision stupid. Along with this, he has also talked about reversing this decision.

 

Several media reports claimed that Musk had also raised the issue in a meeting with Twitter CEO Parag in April. There was a conflict with Parag on this issue as well.
