Ukraine has sought an explanation from Germany regarding this matter. Meanwhile, Germany refused to supply arms to Ukraine late Sunday night, despite the US request. Three days ago, US President Biden had questioned the unity of NATO against Russia, which has now proved to be largely correct.

Navy chief called Putin 'honorable'

Schönbach, speaking at IDSA in New Delhi on Friday, described Putin as an honorable person. Germany is an important member of the 30-nation NATO group, due to which this statement is getting more controversial. Schönbach submitted his resignation to the Defense Minister on his return to Germany on Saturday night, seeing the controversy erupting.

By attacking Ukraine, the Russian President can destroy the dream event of his friend Chinese President Xi Jinping i.e. Beijing Winter Olympics.
