Students are very angry about the rigging of the NEET 2024 result. Now the matter of irregularities in the NEET entrance exam has reached the Supreme Court, which is being heard today.

This is the petition

Amid reports of the NEET UG question paper leak, a group of candidates has approached the Supreme Court demanding a fresh NEET-UG 2024 exam. Alleging irregularities, a petition has been filed in the court that the NEET UG 2024 result should be withdrawn and the exam should be conducted again.

NTA reprimanded by the court

However, during the hearing, the students got a setback from the Supreme Court. The court has refused to cancel the exam and stay the counseling process. At the same time, notice was issued to the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the petitions demanding the examination. The court said that the sanctity of the examination has been affected, so the NTA needs to respond.

Demand to withdraw the result and re-examination

Since the results came out, students have been protesting in every corner of the country for several days. In this petition, there has been a demand to withdraw the result and re-examination. At the same time, there has been a demand for an investigation into the rigging of the result of the examination. It was further said that NTA has given arbitrary grace marks. The petitioner expressed apprehension and said that the fact has come to light that 67 students appearing for the exam at a particular center have been given full marks up to 720. The petition further said that the NEET exam was held on May 5 and since then many complaints have come to the fore in which there were talks of paper leak.

Demand for a ban on NEET counseling also

This petition has been filed in the Supreme Court by Abdullah Mohammad Faiz and Shank Roshan Mohiddin, residents of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It has been said in the petition that this petition has been filed for the sake of the interests of the students and a request has been made to the Supreme Court to stop the counseling of NEET UG 2024 till the investigation is done in this matter. Let us inform you that two petitions are already pending in the Supreme Court in this matter and a plea has been made to cancel the exam on the ground of a paper leak. It is worth noting that while hearing the first petition, the court had also issued a notice to NTA, however, it refused to stay the result.
