WHO has placed this virus in the category of Ebola, Zika, and Corona virus. This is because it has the potential to spread epidemics. Nipah virus usually spreads through animals and contaminated food, but recently it has been seen that it can also spread directly from human to human.

Everyone is worried about Nipah Virus in India because this virus has a high mortality rate. The mortality rate of the victims has been estimated at 75 percent. Another reason for concern is that no vaccine has been released yet.

 

What are the symptoms of the Nipah virus?

In the Nipah virus, the victim has to face high fever, vomiting, and problems in breathing. To make matters worse, the victim's brain may be affected and he may even go into a coma.
