Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's daughter has tied the knot. Union minister's daughter Parakala Wangmayi tied the knot with Prateek of Gujarat in a simple ceremony held at his Bengaluru home. Some reports have claimed that the wedding ceremony was held at a hotel in Bangalore.
According to sources, only family and a few friends were present during the wedding. No political heavyweight was invited to the function. Parakala's marriage with Pratik took place as per Hindu tradition with the blessings of the saints of the Udupi Adamaru Mutt.
Sitharaman's daughter Wangmayi is a feature writer. He holds a master's degree from the Department of English, University of Delhi. He also studied journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
