
Gurgaon, Jan 24 (IANS) Water supply will remain disrupted Jan 27-28 in Gurgaon city on account of repair of the damaged master water supply line, a senior official said here Saturday.
According to Anita Yadav, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) administrator in Gurgaon, the master water supply line from Basai Water Treatment Plant is damaged, resulting in leakage of water.
HUDA has now decided to repair this damaged supply line. Thus, the water supply has to be kept suspended for two days. "Since it is a big line, it will take time to repair and restore the supply," she said.
Yadav asked people to store adequate water in their houses and use it judiciously to avoid water shortage during the two days.
