Traffic Index: Bengaluru is the second most congested city in the world, know what is the condition of Delhi-Mumbai

Traffic Index The people of Bangalore are plagued by the problem of jams. The average time taken to cover a distance of 10 km in this city is 29 minutes and 10 seconds due to traffic jams. Bengaluru ranked second in the Traffic Index, which lists the most congested cities in the world in the city center category in the year 2022. Its figures have been published by Dutch location technology specialist TomTom.

 

London's most trafficked city

In the report, London has been described as the city with the most traffic. It took 36 minutes and 20 seconds to cover a distance of 10 km in London. Dublin was the third most crowded city in Ireland. Delhi ranked 34th in the list while Mumbai city stood at 47th position. The City Center category covers an area of five kilometers covering the busiest part of the city.

 

Highest traffic jam in Bengaluru on October 15 last year

The report said that the busiest traffic day in the city of Bengaluru in 2022 was October 15. On that day, the average travel time to drive 10 kilometers to the city center was 33 minutes and 50 seconds. The TomTom Traffic Index gathered data from 389 cities in 56 countries across six continents.
