Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said on Friday that 102 FIRs have been registered so far in connection with the Nuh violence, of which more than half are in Nuh alone. So far 202 people have been arrested and 80 people have been detained. Police have started action against those who posted provocative posts on social media.
He also said that how the bullets were fired from a height and the stones were piled on the roofs of the buildings showed that the Nuh violence was pre-planned. Seven FIRs have been registered on Saturday. 2300 videos of inflammatory posts are under investigation. Regarding the attack on the cyber police station in Nuh, he said that we have taken this incident very seriously. The investigation is on as to who attacked the police station and what documents they wanted to destroy.
250 settlements destroyed, Rohingyas also involved in violence
After the communal violence in Nuh, the illegal settlements of Rohingyas have been bulldozed by the district administration and more than 250 shanties have been demolished. Information about the involvement of these Rohingyas in the violence has come to the fore. Nuh violence has been blamed on Superintendent of Police (SP) Varun Singla and DC Prashant Panwar. Both were transferred. Narendra Bijarnia has been made SP and Dhirendra Khadgata as Deputy Commissioner. Both of them have lived in Nuh before.
Bulldozers run on many illegal constructions around Nagina, Nalhad temple
Bulldozers ran on about 25 illegal constructions on the road leading to Nalhad temple on Friday evening. Around five acres of forest land was encroached behind the Nalhad Shiva temple. Earlier, on Thursday, illegal slums and houses were demolished on six acres of Forest Department land at Punhana on Mohammadpur Road in Tawdu Nagar. This settlement belonged to the Rohingyas who came from Bangladesh. In Nagina's Dhobi Ghat area too, the demolition squad vacated about one acre of land. Similarly, a shed built on two acres of land in the village of Nangal Mubarikpur has been demolished. In this action taken across the district, more than 250 slums and other constructions have been demolished.
