Storyteller Devkinandan Thakur strongly condemned the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. He also targeted film actor Shah Rukh Khan. Devkinandan Thakur criticized Shah Rukh Khan for buying Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman for a large sum in the IPL. After Devkinandan Thakur, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya also targeted Shah Rukh Khan, saying that Shah Rukh Khan was acting like a traitor. Now, several Maulanas have come out in support of Shah Rukh Khan.

Maulanas who came out in support of Shah Rukh Khan:

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi, National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, said, "Devkinandan Thakur and Sangeet Som should understand that Indian Muslims are also concerned about the attacks on minorities in Bangladesh and support their safety. In such a situation, if Shah Rukh Khan makes a deal with a cricketer, it is not treason. This cannot be justified under any circumstances."

Maulana Sajid Rashidi, President of the Imam Association, said, "In this country, opposing anything without thinking and without understanding the constitution has become a habit. When a Muslim's name comes up, opposing becomes even easier. Shah Rukh Khan is a Muslim, and the Bangladeshi cricketer he bought is also a Muslim. Therefore, opposition is natural, because hatred towards Muslims immediately comes to the fore here. If he has acted against the constitution, the law will take its course, and the government will take action. Who are you to protest and say that Shah Rukh Khan shouldn't have done this?"

AIMIM leader raises the issue of the India-Pakistan match:

AIMIM leader Waris Pathan said, "I condemn the atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh; there should be no violence. Atrocities against Muslim minorities also happen in India. When it comes to cricket, what difference does it make who supports whom? Some time ago, the Indian government allowed the India vs. Pakistan match. We protested against it because Pakistan has been the biggest promoter of terrorism, and India has suffered a lot because of it." In Pahalgam, they came and murdered innocent tourists in the name of religion. Yet, India played a match against Pakistan for money. I reject that money, which compromises the pride and dignity of my country.
