Nuh Violence: Haryana's DGP said - will strictly deal with the miscreants, Monu Manesar's video will also be investigated

Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) PK Aggarwal held a press conference on Wednesday on Nuh violence. He said that the miscreants would be dealt with strictly. Social media is being closely monitored. 90 people have been detained in Nuh. He has also informed us that a separate SIT will investigate the violence. SIT will investigate the video. The special thing is that the video of Monu Manesar will also be investigated. Each SIT will examine seven-eight videos. So far, a total of 116 people have been arrested in connection with the violence. The DGP said that strict legal action is being taken. Whoever is behind the violence, strict action will be taken against them, he added.

 

Six killed in violence, 116 arrested: CM Manohar Lal

Haryana CM Manohar Lal said that six people have died in the Nuh incident so far. Out of these, two are home guards and four are common citizens. 30 companies of state police and 20 companies of central security forces are deployed. Out of 20 companies of the Central Security Force, we have deployed three in Palwal, two in Gurugram, one in Faridabad, and 14 in Nuh. So far 116 people have been arrested. I appeal to the public to maintain peace and not allow any kind of incident to escalate.

 

He said that those found guilty will not be spared. We are committed to the safety of the public. Overall the situation in the state is normal. The Chief Minister of Haryana appealed to the public to maintain peace and brotherhood. CM Manohar Lal said that the situation is normal in Nuh and surrounding areas, and security agencies have been put on alert mode. Security has been tightened in the districts of Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram adjoining Nuh in the wake of violence between two groups on July 31.
