Odisha faces Disturbance, Roads were Blocked by Burning Tyres at Bharat Bandh

The Tamil Nadu tourist was shocked when they saw congress workers suddenley starts throwing stones on the buses near the state congres office. While some tourist also reported and witnessed that some of the congress workers allegedly beaten up the tourist.

 

While police arrested 5 protestors while they were trying to enter into the State screteriat's rear gate. The sources also said that congress workers demolished the ambulance, trucks and other vehicles. Passengers train and express train were running late from their hours from severla stations cuttack, sambalpur, jaipur, rourkela, puri, bhubneshwar and from seevral too. While some other congress protestors jammed teh city roads and highway by damaging the odisha state road transport corporation bus and burn the car, bikes between the crowded highway.

However, Police seniors reported that several city corner roads was also blocked by the congress protestors and they burn the tyre in midde of the road and scatter the bamboo and trees everywhere tooo block the city traffic. While they also attacked in the biridi block of jagatsinghpur, they beat and thrashed the Rabindra Sabat and clerk Sahu. However, reporter said sahu was seriously injured and immediately admitted to the nearest SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack. The Odisha Board of Secondary Education was forced to postpone the matric supplementary examination to June 29. Examination of several universities were also postponed due to the bandh.

 

As the Bharat Bandh Call given by the congress parties BJP,SP in protesting against the centre decision on foreign direct investment like diesel price hike, Subsidies LPG. While the Bandh was easily seen arround the several severral city of the state. While except the incidential area the state was looking peacefull. Bigger markets and commercial markets were closed in the city. While In some of the lucknow malls, and shopping markets and mandi were closed in the cities.



By our sources report, some SP workers marched to the Hazaratganj are and then gathered with the increased number of people at the GPO Park Premisis of Kanpur. Some of SP protestors burnt teh tyres on roads and speaking loudly the slogans against the UPA Members Sonia Gandhi, former PM Manmohan singh.

 

Varanasi,Banda,Agra,Mughalsarai and Mathura stations trains were stopped by the SP workers.

 

However inner city passengers were faces the problems just because of no transportaion in the city, railway track were jammed; because of auto rickshaw, inter-city bus services was shutted in bharat Bandh.
