Poisonous liquor has once again wreaked havoc in Bihar which has banned liquor. In the Chhapra district till late at night on Wednesday, the death toll due to consumption of spurious liquor has reached 31. The condition of many people is still critical. Meanwhile, the minister in Nitish Kumar's government has said that it would be best if people stop drinking. Speaking to reporters in Hajipur on Wednesday, Industry Minister Sameer Kumar Mahaseth in the Bihar government said that there is a complete ban on liquor in the state. Despite this people are wrongly sending it to Bihar. Only poison is coming in the name of liquor in Bihar. No one number one liquor is coming. Alcohol is hollowing people's bodies like slow poisoning.
Sameer Kumar Mahaseth said that whoever is behind this will be caught. Then whether it is the people inside Bihar or outside. He further said that the strength that comes from sports does not come from drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol causes kidney damage, and brain damage, and our Bihar is not progressing due to this, so there is a need to avoid all these things. There is a lack of awareness among the people. Sameer Mahesath also appealed to all the media and said that you just give this publicity that only poison is being marketed in the name of liquor in Bihar. People need to be aware.
Where there is no prohibition, death due to poisonous liquor

IPC sections have been made, yet crimes are still happening. In states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh where there is no prohibition, there is also death due to spurious liquor. Continuous action is being taken regarding prohibition. More than 7000 supply businessmen from outside the state have been caught.
