'The country that nurtured bin Laden has no right to preach', Jaishankar lashed out at Pakistan in the UN.

India has given a befitting reply to Pakistan raising the issue of Kashmir in the United Nations (UN). India said that the country had hosted terrorist Osama bin Laden and attacked the parliament of the neighboring country. Such a country has no right to preach. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the credibility of the UN depends on its effective response to the major challenges of our times, be it pandemics, climate change, conflict, or terrorism.

Bilawal Bhutto raised the Kashmir issue

This reaction of Jaishankar has come when Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto was raising the issue of Kashmir during the debate. Jaishankar has arrived in the US to preside over the ongoing high-level signature programs under India's chairmanship of the UN. Jaishankar said, 'The question of justifying what the world considers unacceptable should not arise. This certainly applies to the sponsoring of cross-border terrorism. Hosting Osama bin Laden and attacking the neighboring parliament could serve as evidence for preaching before this council.

There was a terrorist attack on the country's parliament

Significantly, on December 13, 2001, the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the Parliament of the country. 9 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack.
