Operation Ganga: 200 students reached Delhi on the first flight from Suseva; Students offered to study in Hungarian universities

A special flight took 200 Indian students from Ukraine to Suseva in Romania to Delhi. Today one more flight will come from Suseva. A student who returned from Ukraine said- "When we were traveling in the bus, there was no bomb explosion. The government and embassy helped us a lot, we are very happy to be back."

 

Out of about 20 thousand Indians trapped in Ukraine, about 17,400 people have been airlifted to India. The mission to bring Indians from neighboring countries of Ukraine has been named Operation Ganga. Out of this, the work of an airlift from Hungary and Poland has been completed. The Indian Air Force also participated in Operation Ganga. 2056 passengers were brought back from 10 flights of the Air Force's C-17 Globalstar.

 

Here, Hungarian universities have offered relief to students leaving their studies incomplete from Ukraine. Hungary has asked students from India, Nigeria, and other African countries to continue their studies in Hungarian universities.

 

Ceasefire across Ukraine, rescue continues for Indian students trapped in Sumi

Medical students petition in Supreme Court

 

Students who returned from Ukraine have filed public interest litigation in the Supreme Court. In which he has demanded that he should be allowed to complete the course in India. The petition has been filed by Parthvi Ahuja and Prati Singh. They argue that amid the current situation, doubts are hovering over their studies, so their problem can be solved by allowing them to complete medical studies as per India's education system.
