AQI 5 November 2022: Punjab's air more 'poisonous' than Delhi, know- the situation in other cities according to AQI

With the increase in winter, the problem of air pollution also starts to be seen. The air quality is getting worse in many cities. This is being seen in most of the cities of North India. The AQI in these cities has become so high that even breathing has become difficult. The air quality in terms of AQI (average) is again very poor in the national capital of Delhi and Noida today. On the other hand, many cities of the state are included in the list of worst AQI due to stubble smoke in Punjab.

The level of pollution in Delhi is increasing year after year. Talking about the AQI of Delhi also, it has crossed the level of 400, but do you know the AQI of other cities in the country? Let us know which cities are on this list and what is its AQI:

Khem Karan- Due to the stubble smoke in Punjab, many cities there are currently facing the brunt of air pollution. Khem Karan, located in the Tarn Taran district, has topped the list of air pollution (average) in the country today. The AQI has been recorded at Tarn Taran at 421.

Rajmahal- Today the condition of AQI in Rajmahal located in the Sahebganj district of Jharkhand is very bad. Here AQI 409 is seen.

New Delhi- Like every year in Delhi, the capital of India, this time too pollution has become difficult to breathe. The situation of air pollution is such that even the schools of the children have been closed. Delhi government employees have been asked to work from home. The AQI in Delhi has been pegged at 402.

Malout- Air pollution is also seen increasing in Malout located in Muktsar Sahib district of Punjab. There has been a sudden increase in AQI here. The AQI here was seen to be 358. People are facing difficulty in even breathing.

Patna- The air quality in Patna, the capital of Bihar, is also very bad. Here AQI 452 has been recorded.

Abohar- Abohar city of Punjab is also included in the list of the top 10. Here the AQI is pegged at 344.

Bhiwadi- Air pollution has increased in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Here the AQI has been recorded as 343.

Noida- The effect of Delhi's pollution is also visible in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. AQI 342 is seen here.

Purnia- Purnia of Bihar has also come in the top 10 polluted cities. The AQI here today is 341.

Rohtak- Rohtak in Haryana is also witnessing poor air quality at this time. The AQI here is estimated to be 340.

The condition of pollution is measured by the AQI data

Note that an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered the best in any field. Whereas 51 to 100 have been kept in the satisfactory category. If the AQI is between 101 and 200, it is considered moderate and 201 to 300 is considered poor. On the other hand, an AQI of 301 to 400 is considered very poor and an AQI between 401 and 500 is considered in the severe category, where even breathing becomes difficult. This is the situation in Delhi today.
