Four Union Ministers of the Government of India will visit neighboring countries of Ukraine to coordinate the evacuation of Indian students trapped during the war in Ukraine. Sources said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took this decision at a high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis. These include Union Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju, and former Army Chief General VK Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways.

 

Hardeep Singh Puri will go to Hungary, VK Singh will go to Poland, Kiren Rijiju will go to Slovakia and Scindia will go to Romania. These people will take part in the mission to evacuate Indians trapped in Ukraine with the help of neighboring countries of Ukraine. The Prime Minister assured everyone that the safety and safe evacuation of the Indian students stranded in Ukraine is the priority of the Government.

 

Attempt to expel Indians with the help of neighboring countries

Sources said that Modi had also held a high-level meeting late Sunday evening, in which the Prime Minister along with the dignitaries discussed the safe evacuation of Indians stranded in Ukraine with the help of neighboring countries of Ukraine. For this, discussions were held for more than two hours to increase cooperation.

 

Weekend curfew lifted in Kyiv, Indian students asked to go to the railway station

At the same time, the weekend curfew has been lifted in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The Indian Embassy in Kyiv has advised students to visit the railway station for an onward journey to the western parts of the country. "Weekend curfew has been lifted in Kyiv. All students are advised to go to the railway station to travel to the western parts. Ukraine Railways is running special trains for evacuation," the embassy said in a tweet.
