After Masood Azhar returned to Pakistan, Bahawalpur became a major place for training terrorists. This terrorist organization has been operating from Muridke since 1990. India chose these places to target the leaders of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. After India's action, the first statement came from Pakistan's Inter Service Public Relations Director General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary.
