However, after the attack, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif rushed to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad at midnight. He had assured that the Chinese would be given strict security in the future.
China asks its citizens to leave Pakistan
He had recalled all the professors teaching in Pakistan after being angered by the attacks on Chinese nationals. Due to this order, professors who taught Mandarin all over Pakistan, including Karachi University, returned to their country.
2021 Chinese citizens lost their lives in three major attacks
