According to local media, the court was to charge the two leaders allegedly involved in the case earlier this month, but the process was delayed due to the PM's absence.
Court summoned on 14 May
Let us inform you that Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif was to appear before the court on Wednesday but he did not appear, after which the court in its written order has summoned him and all the other suspects including Hamza Shahbaz on May 14. The court has said that it will frame charges against both the leaders at the next hearing. Significantly, this happened after Shehbaz Sharif's lawyer had earlier told the court not to attend the hearing citing the Prime Minister is busy in the cabinet meeting and after that the court adjourned the hearing to May 14.
