Politics in Pakistan has intensified due to high inflation. Now Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has warned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and Imran Khan's special Mehmood Khan. Sharif said that if CM Khan does not provide cheap flour to the people in the next 24 hours, he will sell his clothes and provide it.
Addressing a public meeting at Thakara Stadium on Sunday, the PM said, 'I repeat my promise, I will sell my clothes and provide the cheapest wheat flour to the people.' Sharif accused former Prime Minister Imran Khan of giving Pakistan the biggest ever gift of inflation and unemployment.
Imran failed to provide 50 lakh houses and one crore jobs
Slamming the erstwhile Imran government, the Pak PM said that he failed to fulfill his promise of providing 50 lakh houses and one crore jobs. He pushed the country into an economic crisis. According to the Pakistani newspaper 'Dawn', PM Sharif said in the rally, 'I declare before you that I will sacrifice my life, but will keep the country on the path of prosperity and development.'
In the Balochistan elections, Sharif said people believed in him and came out to vote for him. It is very rare for the people of Balochistan to throng the polling stations. I expected the turnout to be in the range of 30 to 35 percent, which is the faith of the people in democracy and law and order reforms. The public is in bad condition due to inflation in Pakistan. At the same time, former PM Imran Khan and his party PTI are increasing trouble through marches and other ways against the Sharif-led coalition government.
