At least 30 Afghan civilians have been killed or injured in an airstrike by the Pakistan Army in Afghanistan. This report has been given by Tolo News. Children and women were killed in airstrikes by Pakistani forces in Afghanistan's southeastern Kunar and Khast provinces, Tolo News reported.

Witnesses told Tolo News that Pakistani planes hit the Shilton area in Kunar and an area in Khost's Sparai district, with civilian casualties. The Pakistani government and the Afghanistan Foreign Ministry have not yet commented on the matter.

Khost security department official confirmed the incident

Local authorities in Kunar have yet to comment on the matter, but a spokesman for the Khost Security Department confirmed the incident, though he did not give details of civilian casualties. A Waziristan tribal elder living in Khost told Tolonews that at least 30 people were killed or injured when Pakistani military planes hit a Waziristan migrant camp in the area. Eyewitnesses have confirmed that five people were killed in an airstrike by Pakistani forces in Kunar.

Durand Line is the root of controversies?

Since the arrival of the Taliban in Kabul, the tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has increased over the border. Experts believe that there are differences between the two sides regarding the border. According to local media reports, Taliban and Pakistani troops are on high alert along the Durand Line in southwestern Afghanistan's Nimroz province after a Pakistani military helicopter was shot down recently.

People watching Pakistan and Afghanistan say that the Taliban is very firm about the Durand Line. In such a situation, both the parties should resolve the issue through dialogue and the dispute should not be allowed to progress further.
