According to CNN, severe floods in Pakistan are at risk of creating multiple disasters and dwindling food supplies as water has destroyed millions of acres of crops and engulfed thousands of livestock. According to ESA photos on August 30, torrential rainfall 10 times higher than normal has caused the Indus river to overflow, creating a long lake several kilometers wide.

According to a CNN report, 27 million people in the country did not have enough food before the floods, according to Charity Action Against Hunger. For this reason, there is now a danger of more food crises. Inflation is also sky high in Pakistan, due to which people are facing more problems.

"Our priority right now is to help rescue and rescue people as the water continues to rise," said Saleh Saeed, chief executive of the disaster emergency committee of a UK-based aid organization. He said, 'I have to arrange food for my people. He cannot remain hungry.
