Lucknow Super Giants : For the first time in Lucknow, an IPL match will be held between Super Giants and Delhi Capitals today.

The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) started on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the same time, the IPL will start in Lucknow on Saturday with the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals. The country's largest state in terms of population will host the world's biggest league for the first time. For this, the entire city along with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium has been painted in the colors of IPL.

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate IPL at around 7 pm in Ekana. For the first time in Lucknow, fans are excited about IPL. Lucknow did not get a chance to play a single match at home in its first season. The host team will play for the first time at their home ground Ekana Stadium. After the opening match on Saturday, the Super Giants will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians.

 

IPL matches are being held for the first time in Lucknow

To say that Ekana Stadium has a long list of successfully organizing international matches in its account, but cricket fans were disappointed due to the absence of IPL here. However, now this wait of sports lovers is also over. On the pretext of IPL, world-famous cricketers including Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya will be seen playing in Lucknow.

 

Visitors will get food and drink inside

There are no coins or selfie sticks inside the stadium, spectators will be able to carry cameras, selfie sticks, helmets, cans, eatables, water bottles, power banks, lighters, matches, tablets, umbrellas, and Other prohibited items that may not be carried inside. Don't even keep coins in the spectator's pocket. They will also not be allowed to take them. However, there is no restriction on carrying mobiles. The match will be at 7.30 pm. Visitors will get entry from 4 pm onwards. Food and drink will be available inside.

 

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium has a capacity of 50 thousand

Young cricketers in high spirits along with fans for the Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals match at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium on Saturday. The stadium with a capacity of 50,000 will be packed for the first match of the IPL. The excitement among the people regarding this match can be gauged from the fact that all the ticket counters in the city were put up with housefull boards till Friday evening.

Uttar Pradesh Ranji team member and local boy Akshdeep Nath say that organizing IPL in Lucknow is nothing less than a big opportunity for young cricketers. He said, till a few years ago we used to discuss IPL, but now we will be able to see it closely in our city. These are unforgettable moments for us both as players and as fans. Since the Lucknow team is now playing in the IPL, the cricketers here are going to get direct benefits.

 

Spin bowler Zeeshan Ansari, who was a member of the UP Ranji team, says that if IPL is going to happen in the city, then the credit should be given directly to the Ekana Stadium. If such a magnificent stadium was not built in Lucknow, then international and big matches like IPL could not be organized here. Zeeshan said, now the identity of Lucknow will be Ekana Stadium and IPL. It is a matter of pride for the entire state.

 

VIP entry will be from gate number three and four

A first-come-first-served system has been implemented for spectators to get parking near the stadium. Those who leave vehicles on the roadside, their vehicles will be lifted by cranes and challans will also be made. Park the vehicle at the designated place, pass holders Strict action will be taken if unnecessarily harassing. VIP's entry will be from gate number three and four, the gate number is written on the pass. Park here Vehicles Visitors to the North/South Stand will park at P-5, 6, and 9. East West stand visitors will park at P-7, 8, 10, and 11. Parking will be allowed in limited numbers at PO, P1, P2, P3, and P3A when the vehicle passes. Parking of two-wheelers will be done in P-4.

After parking the vehicle in the designated parking, the spectators should use the pedestrian path. Only car pass holders should accompany the vehicle inside the stadium. The motor vehicle pass has been issued in different colors. Online ticket takers must bring a hard copy along with them.
