Pakistan: PAK security forces were guarding the Balochistan-Iran border, terrorists were targeted, and 4 soldiers killed

On Wednesday, terrorists carried out a cowardly act on Pakistan's border with Iran. Terrorists have attacked a convoy of Pakistani security forces. In which four soldiers have died. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media and PR wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, has said that four security personnel have been killed as a result of terrorist activity in Pakistan.

 

The incident took place in the Chukab sector across the Pakistan-Iran border

The incident took place on the border with Iran in the Panjgur district of Balochistan. In a statement issued by the ISPR, four security personnel were killed in the terrorist attack in the Chuqab sector across the Pakistan-Iran border. The ISPR further said that the terrorists used Iranian soil to target a convoy of security forces patrolling the border.

Shahbaz Sharif condemned the incident

According to the Dawn news, the ISPR has asked Iran to capture the terrorists on its side. The incident was condemned by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif. He said that I pay tribute to the sacrifice of our soldiers in the line of national duty. He also said that we expect Iran to ensure that its soil is not used for cross-border attacks.

 

Terrorists will have to pay the price – Bhutto

The terrorist attack has also been condemned by the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi. He paid tribute to the services and sacrifices rendered by the officers killed in the attack. He said that the entire country has resolved to fight terrorism. Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also condemned the attack. The officers killed in the attack are heroes of the nation, he said in a statement. The terrorist who carried out the attack will have to pay the price.

 

Terrorists used RPG-7 and grenade weapons

Lakki Marwat police spokesman Shahid Hameed said the terrorists attacked the police check post with heavy weapons, The Dawn reported. He also tried to enter inside. He told that the terrorists have used RPG-7, grenades, and other advanced weapons. However, the police spokesperson also said that the attack was foiled due to the timely action of the police.
