The path of monsoon this year is very difficult. Usually, the monsoon reaching Kashmir now has been stuck on the UP-Bihar border for 12 days. It reached near Mau district on June 17 but is not able to move due to the hot winds coming from Pakistan through the deserts of Rajasthan. This has happened earlier also in Karnataka, where the monsoon was stuck for 10 days.
According to meteorologists, the air pressure is slightly less in the Bay of Bengal. Because of this, the winds pushing the monsoon forward are not blowing. Now, however, the westerly winds have started weakening and the winds from the Bay of Bengal have started blowing north-westwards. Therefore, it is expected that in the next two days, the monsoon can start moving forward.
If this happens, it can reach Kashmir within 8-10 days. After that, it can cross Rajasthan and cover the whole country. Monsoon has been weak so far except in the states of South and Northeast. The country receives an average of 150 mm of rain between June 1 and 27. This time it is 135 mm. That is, 10% less.

Humidity disturbed in MP
In MP, it is getting hot like April and June. For a week, the mercury is at 35 to 37, but the increased humidity is troubling. There are clouds in the sky, but it is not raining. Similar weather is prevailing in most areas of the state including Bhopal for the last one week. Even after the arrival of the monsoon, it is getting hot like April. The main reason for this is that at present there is no such monsoon strong system that can cause heavy rains. The indifference of the weather is taking its toll on the farm to the health.
Both the branches of the monsoon are not active... the temperature is increasing and the humidity is also increasing, so we must have more rain here that a low-pressure area should be formed in the Bay of Bengal. Such a system has not yet been created. There is no system in the Arabian Sea also. Both the branches of the monsoon are not active. Because of this, it is not raining heavily. Both the temperature and the humidity are high, so the humidity is also getting higher. - Ved Prakash Singh, meteorologist
There was a dense cloud, but it was drizzling, on Tuesday, there was a thick cloud in Bhopal since morning. During this, some parts of the city also received drizzle. Despite this, the temperature could not drop below normal. The day temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius. It was one degree above normal. The night temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius. It was also one degree above normal.
