The world's delay in recognizing the Taliban, the new regime of Afghanistan, is causing pain in Pakistan's stomach. Pakistan, which has openly batted for the Taliban from the beginning, has said that the situation will get worse if the US does not recognize the Taliban. Local media reported that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if the US does not negotiate with the Taliban and does not take a positive stand on its recognition, it could increase the difficulties in the region.

Pakistan's Dunya News reported on Saturday that Imran Khan said during an interview with a Russian media organization Friday that Afghanistan is currently the most important issue for the entire region as the country is at a historic crossroads. Asked about Pakistan's aid to the Taliban against the US, he said that if Pakistan helped the Taliban win against the US, it means that Pakistan is stronger than America and the whole European people and is so strong that He can form an army of about 60,000 lightly armed fighters, which defeated a force of 300,000 armed with weapons.

He also said that the Afghan people consider war against outside forces to be jihad and that the Taliban has learned a lot in 20 years. Earlier on Wednesday, Imran Khan said that the US war on terrorism was "disastrous" for Pakistan as Washington used Islamabad as a "hired gun" during its 20-year presence in Afghanistan. "We (Pakistan) were like hired guns."

Imran Khan said in an interview with CNN that we had to make them (America) win the war in Afghanistan, which we could never do. At the same time, on Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the US will re-evaluate its relationship with Pakistan after the military withdrawal from Afghanistan. Let us tell you that Pakistan has been accused of giving full help to the Taliban and because of this, the Taliban was able to come back to power after 20 years.
