Earlier on Friday, it was reported that Kohli will also not be a part of the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka starting from February 24. This series will start in Lucknow. After this, the remaining two matches will be played in Dharamsala on 26 and 27 February.

A senior BCCI official said, “Kohli went to his house on Saturday morning. India has already won the series. The BCCI had decided that regular players playing in all formats would be given a break from the bio bubble from time to time to manage their workload and take care of their mental health. Let us tell you that in the second match against West Indies, Kohli scored a brilliant half-century. At the same time, Pant had scored 52 runs in just 28 balls. Rishabh was also the man of the match in the second match.
T20 series will start on February 24
BCCI has already announced the schedule of the T20 and Test series between Team India and Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan team's tour will start with the first T20 match in Lucknow on February 24. The two-match Test series will start in Mohali on March 4. Former captain Virat Kohli will play his 100th Test match in Mohali itself.
